Neptune is gifted in the arts and excels in playing the violin and in painting.She is from an extremely wealthy family and lives in a western-style mansion by the sea. She loves visiting galleries of art and aquariums and has a soft since of humor. Michiru did not necessarily want to be a sailor senshi,but accepted it as her fate. She has sacrificed herself many times to save Hauka(Uranus).Her parents are divorced.

Setsuna is the distant guardian of Chibi-Usa when she's in the 20th century,they share a special bond close to a surrogate mother/deep friendship type of relationship.She usually leads a solitary life because she guards the gate of time,but she comes during Sailor Moon S to add her talismon to Neptune's and Uranus' and again in Stars to take baby Hotaru away from her father.Her,Haruka,and Neptune make a pact to raise Hotaru.

Hotaru has the power to heal,which scares alot of her peers off,due to misunderstanding,making her have a pretty much iscolated life,until she befriends Chibi-Usa. Hotaru's mom died when she was very young and her father sold his soul to Mistress Nine to save Hotaru's life after a lab explosion killed her. She is often sick and meak as Hotaru,but as Saturn,she can destroy entire worlds,fortresses,and entities. She is argueably the leader of the outer senshi.
